The Selani Jedi Temple
Due to the influence of Jedi Master Theman Ar-Tauri, the Selani government and Mining Guild, along with the Alderaanian Royal House sponsored a Jedi Temple to help safeguard the region and watch the Betorok situation.

Jedi Masters
Jedi Master Theman Ar-Tauri, once a member of the Council of Jedi Masters of the Library on Ossus, led the creation of a Jedi Temple in Selani Sector, as an outpost against the pr ophesied return of the Sith, and in an attempt to alleviate the issues created by the fall of his own late ap prentice, Corrin U'Majna.

Thaara Munaro - Rodian Female - Shadow Jedi Knight
29 year old Rodian female from Rodia in the Expansion Region. 1.68m tall, 78.7kg mass. Short orangish-black hair, stubby antennae, black eyes. Typically wears a black jumpsuit and dark brown hooded cloak, though wears full Jedi robes (brown with dark brown hooked cloak) when at rest.
Found on Rodia by Jedi Master Ssathk who was on Republic business at age of 16. Taken to Jedi training center on Ossus, where she learned the basics of Jedi philosophy, theory, and ethics for 4 years, but where she struggled with the ethics that were being taught her. Noticed by Jedi Master Il-Zax for further training and eventually apprenticed to him in RY22,860.
Attained rank of Jedi Knight in RY22,864 at age of 24. From Master Il-Zax, Thaara learned discipline and the ability to control her anger and fully embraced the ethics and philosophy of the Jedi. After attaining Knighthood, initially she walked on the same path of diplomacy as her Master, but met Master Alec-Mest Krym at his training facility on Kazal and began following the path of the Shadow.
Returned to Rodia in RY22,865 and began battling against the influence of the Hutt Kadjics that were the root cause of much violence and illegality. After toppling the plans of a number of Hutt syndicates, she was marked for death, but escaped their trap. Just the same, she didn’t want innocents to suffer from collateral damage caused by her presence so she left Rodia and went towards Hutt Space to continue her campaign. Late in RY22,869 she answered the call of Master Mest-Krym to journey to Selani Sector to help found a Jedi Temple there.
Thaara struggles with the violence of her species and culture coupled with her anger against the Hutt schemes and amorality that dooms so many Rodians to poverty, pain, and violent deaths. While she has learned discipline, she has yet to attain mastery of her own emotions, and this has prevented her from becoming fully in tune with her Jedi training and may ultimately preclude her from ever attaining Mastery. Her Force abilities have only increased her striving to bring justice to Rodia and its Hutt exploiters.

Zomei Ibana - Near-Human Female - Scholar Jedi Knight
26 year old Near-Human female from Shan-Iser in the Inner Rim. 1.64m tall, 65.5kg mass. Like all Shan-Iser, she has a small series of oval ridges on her forehead and temples. Shoulder length greenish brown hair usually pulled in bun or a tail. Usually wearing simple gray Jedi robes but sometimes (when participating in a dialogue via the HoloNet) the ornamental robes of a Proctor of the Archives of Shan-Iser. She has gray eyes and a reddish tint to her skin.
Taken for pre-Jedi training at Ossus at the age of 11. Taken as apprentice by her mother, Jedi Master Zamoi Ibana, at the age of 16. Carefully trained by her mother to be Jedi Proctor of the Archives of Shan-Iser. Though she wishes for more excitement and to see and serve the galaxy and the beings populating it, she does eventually desire to take up the position she’s been groomed for.
Reached level of Jedi Knight in RY22,869. Left Shan-Iser to gain greater insight to the beings that make up the Republic (and thus their effects on Shan-Iser and the Archives that chronicle it) and to serve the Republic and its citizens as a Jedi Knight. Met Master Theman Ar-Tauri as he was preparing to leave for Selani Sector and accepted his invitation to help set up the Jedi Temple and Library there, where she intends to make the rest of the Republic (starting with Selani Sector) more aware of Shan-Iser.
Her personality is ordinarily cheerful, though she frequently lets her cultural preconceptions color her judgment when dealing with outworlders. She loves to enlighten others to the intricacies of Shan-Iser’s history and to the tenets of its culture and describing her world. Her strength with the Force not as strong as some, but she nevertheless feels gifted and duty bound to serve and is firmly opposed to injustice.

Einok O’Tlu
23 year old Caamasi male from Caamas in the Colonies. 1.77m tall, 81.5kg mass. Off-white down with bluish-black mask. Einok typically wears a cream colored Jedi robes just darker than his own down and an olive cloak, but is also commonly wearing a navy jumpsuit to better suit the style of his master, Jedi Knight Aji Halians.
Found on Caamas by Jedi Master Namugen E’Gna at age of 16. Taken to Jedi training center on Ossus, where he learned the basics of Jedi philosophy, theory, and ethics for 3 years, but where she struggled with the ethics that were being taught her. Noticed by Jedi Master Theman Ar-Tauri on Ossus and recommended as apprentice to Jedi Knight Aji Halians, who was eager to take up the mantle of teacher in training Einok. Einok has an unusual talent with healing powers and indeed possessed some of these as a “wild talent.” Noting his ability, his master was recommended by Master Theman Ar-Tauri to obtain special instruction from Jedi Master Nanb Gien, a specialist in the healing aspects of the Force.
Like most Caamasi, Einok is a dedicated pacifist and firm in his convictions to bring the peace he knows as a Jedi to those at the fringes of the Republic. His personality is gentle and kind, though he favors passive meditation over the more rigorous style preferred by his master. Einok works to continually please his master with his skills, but knowing that he is not the real type of apprentice Aji desires leaves him continually trying to compensate and work overly hard.

Daina Starfire
22 year old Human female from Alderaan in the Core Worlds. 1.73m tall, 60.3kg mass. “Plain Jane” features and medium build. She wears her moderately wavy brown hair shoulder length and simple in fashion, usually pulled into a simple tail, though braided tight against her scalp when she expects trouble. She almost always wears her light gray Jedi robes and with the hood of her dark navy cloak pulled over her green eyes.
Raised by her mother, the famed Jedi Master Lara Starfire on Alderaan, as a relation of one of the less prominent minor noble families. She received pre-Jedi training from her mother from adolescence through her completion of primary education at the age of 17 in RY22,67. Deciding that her connection with her daughter was too close, took her to the Jedi Training Center on Ossus to both remove her from the home environment of the Core Worlds and to expose her to life as a Jedi in the Republic at large. Encountered and selected by Jedi Master Nanb Gien for apprenticeship.
Daina is driven more to living up to the ideal presented by her mother’s Jedi career than any other factor, and this causes a struggle in her Jedi training. She has dedicated herself to becoming a Jedi Knight and decided on Ossus that she would have to sacrifice most aspects of a normal life (including personal relationships) to attain her goal. At the same time, she longs for a love and to raise children of her own. In her personal battle of woman versus Jedi, she has intellectually decided in favor of Jedi, but her heart longs for the other choice. She strives to help, but secretly fears she’s too selfish in her desire versus her goals.

Minami Duuz
19 year old Twi’lek female from Ryloth in the Expansion Region. 1.63m tall, 51.3kg mass. Blue skin, beautiful face, and lithe build. Her lekku are lightly tattoed with navy and teal swirls and circles with a piercing at the edge of each, as well as three earrings in each ear. She prefers to wear a simple scanty garment instead of Jedi robes, but has been attempting to wear her full robes more often and live the life of a Jedi apprentice.
Raised to a middle class Twi’lek family, Minami had a good upbringing, though her families trade was oriented on pleasing the various vices of the Hutt kadjics that essentially control the governmental mechanisms of civilized Ryloth. Her dexterity gave her a talent at dancing and she was seemingly destined to performing such a trade in one of the more affluent establishments. Minami’s destiny was manifest when a fierce dispute that broke out between two rival kadjics 5 years ago. She subconsciously manipulated the Force to save herself from the vicious thugs of one kadjic and was separated from her family. She was discovered by an undercover Jedi Knight on a mission from the Republic, who managed to trick the thugs into seeking other targets. The Jedi Knight, cloaked and shadowy in nature never fully revealed himself, but rescued the teenage Minami and brought her to Ossus, where she decided to undertake the rigors of pre-Jedi training over that of a career as an exotic dancer.
Minami’s pre-Jedi training was troubled by her longing for home and second guessing her earlier decision, but she remained steadfast and wished to emulate the mysterious Jedi who rescued her those years ago. Having been passed up for apprenticeship several times, she was noticed by Jedi Master Il-Zax and recommended to his apprentice Jedi Knight Thaara Munaro, who believed she could train Minami to be the sort of Jedi she admired and, more importantly, face her feelings towards the Hutts and their machinations on her homeworld and species.
